What is this?
This is a language pack that is applicable for Chinese server of Girl Cafe Gun, name Double Life World. This language pack made by C86 Academic is not endorsed, approved, or have obtained prior authorisation from the officials. This service is not part of GCG.moe / GCGDS or Girl Cafe Gun Wiki.
Requirements
- Downloaded and installed Double Life World (双生视界)
- Fully registered and entered the game at least once.
- Have permission to modify game’s files on your device.
- You acknowledge and understand that you use language packs at your own risk.
Steps to apply
You need to first download the language pack from C86 Academic website.
Then, you need have this file overwrite the same file of game’s data directory. For Android devices, this is /sdcard/Android/data/com.bilibili.gcg2.bili/files/lang.u (Android absolute path). You may do this through MTP, ADB, or file explorer on some lower versions of the game. Using MTP you will not see the first /sdcard part. This language pack do not support installations on external memory devices (e.g. TF card).
Things you should know
This language pack do not affect font display or image-based characters. You may see a lot of places where texts are part of an image, like main screen buttons and attack menu buttons. It will not significantly affect your ability to read plots and perform most interactions. If you find difficulty finding a specific function, send a support query using contact details below, but remember to highlight the element or function you need help with.
This language pack will not replace any string that does not officially exist in your language. This is mostly a Japanese-specific issue, but may have some occasions in English. If the content were never attempted to be made available in your language, in no way an automatically generated language pack could be of help. For these strings Chinese text will be shown to avoid issues.
Please note that the CN version is known to have a tendency of crashing on Samsung One UI devices. When this occurs, try reboot your device and launch the game after a minute or two after first unlock. This is an issue that was resolved for global after CN final update.
